Which SiFly is best for getting started?
Is the SiFly Rider+ suitable for beginners?
Yes. The SiFly Rider+ is the model we recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to use an eFoil as simply as possible.
The 130-litre board provides a stable platform during the initial stages, when you need to learn how to get started, manage the throttle, stand up, and gradually control the foil's lift.
The Rider+ is also particularly appealing to heavier riders, schools, eFoil centres, rental companies, and families where the same eFoil is used by people of different skill levels.

What is the difference between the SiFly Rider and Rider+?
The main difference is the board volume.
The Rider+ offers 130 litres and is therefore more focused on stability and ease of learning, while the 110-litre Rider is more compact.
For a beginner who wants to prioritise maximum ease, we generally recommend the Rider+.
The Rider, on the other hand, may be a good choice for those who want a more compact board while still maintaining an accessible setup.

Which SiFly should you choose after you have learned?
Is the SiFly Stellar R the most versatile model?
The SiFly Stellar R is probably one of the most versatile models in the range for those who want to combine stability and performance.
The board has a volume of 120 litres and dimensions of 171 x 72 cm, but uses a full-carbon sandwich construction.
This provides a relatively stable platform for take-offs and landings, while being stiffer and more responsive during riding compared to models more focused on learning.
It is a particularly interesting choice for intermediate riders who want to progress without immediately switching to a much smaller board.

Who is the SiFly Stellar S recommended for?
The SiFly Stellar S represents a major step towards more sporty riding.
The board measures 161 x 66 cm and has a volume of 98 litres. The full-carbon sandwich construction reduces weight and swing weight and provides a more direct response to the rider's movements.
It is particularly suitable for those who have already learned to manage take-offs, lift, and height, and want to focus more on carving, turns, and dynamic riding.
Compared to the Stellar R, it requires greater balance during take-offs, but once airborne, it offers a more agile and sporty feel.

Which SiFly is the highest performing?
Who is the SiFly Stellar X recommended for?
The SiFly Stellar X is the most compact and sporty model in the Stellar range.
The board measures only 142 x 64 cm and has a volume of 75 litres. It is built with a full-carbon sandwich construction and is intended primarily for advanced riders.
The reduced volume and swing weight make the eFoil extremely responsive during changes of direction and allow for riding more focused on carving, speed, manoeuvrability, and wave riding.
The Stellar X can reach an approximate top speed of 40 km/h, depending on the configuration used and the conditions.
However, it is not the model we recommend for learning: the 75 litres require good technique, especially during take-offs and landings.

How long does a SiFly eFoil battery last?
What is the battery life of the SiFly PowerCell LR?
SiFly sets equipped with the PowerCell LR can achieve an approximate battery life of up to 120 minutes and an approximate range of up to around 30 km.
However, the actual range depends on several factors:
- rider weight;
- average speed;
- number of accelerations and take-offs;
- wing used;
- wind and current;
- water conditions;
- battery temperature and state.
Smooth riding at moderate speeds generally consumes less energy than sporty riding with continuous accelerations.
How to choose the wing for a SiFly eFoil?
Choosing the wing is almost as important as choosing the board.
In general, a larger wing generates more lift at low speeds and makes take-offs easier. By reducing the surface area, the foil becomes progressively faster, more agile, and more responsive.
When to choose the SiFly Cruiser 1900 / CR340?
The Cruiser 1900 with the CR340 stabiliser is the configuration most focused on stability.
The 1900 cm² front wing generates a lot of lift and allows for a progressive take-off even at relatively low speeds.
It is particularly suitable for beginners, heavier riders, schools, rental companies, and relaxed riding.

When to choose the SiFly Cruiser 1300 / CR300?
The Cruiser 1300 / CR300 represents an excellent compromise between stability and manoeuvrability.
Compared to the 1900, it allows you to increase speed and agility while maintaining a progressive and easily controllable ride.
It is one of the most interesting configurations for an intermediate rider or for those who want to progress after learning with a larger wing.

When to choose the SiFly Glide 1100?
The Glide 1100 / SP240 is designed for those who want to move from mainly cruising to riding more focused on carving.
It offers greater flow and efficiency and a more precise response in turns, while remaining a progressive configuration for an intermediate rider.
When to choose the SiFly Glide 900?
The Glide 900 / SP240 further reduces the wing surface area, increasing agility and responsiveness.
It is recommended for more experienced riders who want a more dynamic and precise eFoil in turns.
When to choose the SiFly Sport 700?
The Sport 700 / SP240 is the configuration most focused on performance.
It is designed for advanced riders who prioritise speed, agility, carving, and immediate response over ease of take-off.

Which SiFly combination should you choose based on your level?
Which configuration do we recommend for a beginner?
For those who have never used an eFoil, we generally recommend a high-volume board, such as the SiFly Rider+, paired with a wing that prioritises stability and lift.
The goal during the first sessions should not be speed, but learning to control acceleration, balance, take-offs, and foil height.
Which configuration do we recommend for an intermediate rider?
A rider who can already easily control flight can move to a Stellar R or Stellar S.
The wing choice can lean towards the Cruiser 1300 or Glide 1100 depending on the priority between stability and carving.
Which configuration do we recommend for an advanced rider?
For an experienced rider looking for a very sporty ride, the Stellar S or Stellar X paired with the Glide 900 or Sport 700 will provide a much more agile and responsive configuration.
Stellar R or Stellar S: which should you choose?
Choose the Stellar R if you want to maintain greater stability during take-offs and landings, or if you want a premium eFoil that can be used by riders of different skill levels.
Choose the Stellar S if you already have good technique and want a more compact board to prioritise carving, agility, and a more direct feel.
Stellar S or Stellar X: which should you choose?
The 98-litre Stellar S offers an excellent compromise between performance and accessibility for an intermediate or advanced rider.
The 75-litre Stellar X, on the other hand, is intended primarily for experienced riders who want to minimise size and swing weight and achieve maximum responsiveness.
Can you change the wing on a SiFly?
Yes. One of the advantages of the SiFly system is the ability to change the wing configuration as the rider's technical skills progress.
This means that it is not necessarily necessary to replace the entire eFoil as you improve: by switching from a larger wing to a smaller one, you can significantly change the foil's handling.

How to transport a SiFly eFoil?
ZZSurf also offers accessories for transporting and protecting SiFly components, including boardbags and bags for the hydrofoil unit.
How to maintain a SiFly eFoil after use?
After every use, especially at sea, it is important to rinse the board, mast, wings, motor, and external components with fresh water.
Before storing the eFoil, it is also advisable to check that the connections, electronic components, and battery compartment are clean and completely dry.
Which is the best SiFly eFoil?
There is no single best model: the choice depends above all on the rider's level and the intended use.
- SiFly Rider+: maximum ease for learning and great stability.
- SiFly Rider: easy and more compact.
- SiFly Stellar R: balance between stability, carbon, and performance.
- SiFly Stellar S: carving, agility, and sporty riding.
- SiFly Stellar X: maximum performance for advanced riders.
