The Blacktip 2025 has been meticulously designed with a single goal: to provide Marc Paré with the optimal tool to realize his ambition of becoming World Champion in Waves. During the design collaboration between Marc and Tomas Persson, the primary objectives were clear: to create a sail that offers light handling, a wide wind range, a balanced feel, and performance oriented more towards the front.
For the larger sail sizes, maneuverability has been significantly improved through an increased aspect ratio. This adjustment is particularly advantageous for executing high-scoring maneuvers, such as double forwards, even with sail sizes ranging from 5.3 to 5.9 square meters. Conversely, the smaller sizes have been specifically optimized with a lower aspect ratio and an extended boom length, thus broadening their wind range and enhancing performance in extremely strong wind conditions.
The new Blacktip incorporates a forward-focused drive, achieved by increasing the distance between the central body battens and implementing vertical shaping. This design modification allows more material to fill in, creating additional thrust during acceleration in powerful turns.
A weight reduction of approximately 6% compared to the Blacktip 2024 has been achieved by refining the panel layout to minimize seams and maximizing material properties, tape, overlapping scrims, eliminating unnecessary use of marker fabric by using infusion printing for graphics, and redesigning the tack protection to further reduce weight.
Ease of use has also been a critical design consideration. The curve of the foot has been finely tuned so that when the sail intercepts a gust, it accelerates smoothly without destabilizing, ensuring

Shipping Costs
- Italy: Free shipping on orders over $50. For lower orders, a shipping charge may apply.
- EU countries: Cost starts from €24.90 for orders under €200, the price however may vary depending on country and volume of products. The exact calculation is displayed during checkout.
- For bulky products (boards, sails, foils, SUPs, kayaks, etc.) a surcharge may be required. It will always be clearly communicated prior to order confirmation.
Shipping Methods
- We ship with specialized express couriers (GLS, BRT, DHL, UPS, SDA, etc.), selected according to product type and delivery area.
- All products are packed carefully and, where necessary, with reinforced packaging to ensure maximum safety during transport.
- You will receive tracking via email/SMS as soon as the shipment leaves our warehouse.
Pickup at Headquarters
- You can pick up your orders for free at our ZZSURF warehouse in Gallarate Via Mameli 48 (VA) Italy - Please note this is not a store but a pickup point where orders already placed on the site can be picked up.
- You will be notified as soon as your order is ready for pickup.
