The Album keel bridges the gap between a traditional keel template and a more contemporary twin template. Its appearance is reminiscent of a standard performance fin, with greater width at the base and through the midsection, and a distinctly more pronounced curve on the exit edge compared to old-style keels.
The high rake angle maintains a moderate amount of hold and drive, while the tapered tip and low profile eliminate the "tracking" sensation sometimes associated with keels with greater surface area.
