Its long, parallel lines make it a very fast board for two, combining the speed of a race board with the stability of a touring board.

The mast inserts and side fin boxes allow you to enjoy both paddling and windsurfing while sharing time with friends and family.
Incredibly lightweight
Starboard's lightest inflatable construction, up to 2 kg lighter. It is made from Woven Dropstitch, making the board lighter and stiffer.
Double chamber
The second chamber provides emergency buoyancy, while its side walls act as rollable I-beams, making the board extremely rigid.
New elastic system
The wide, adjustable elastic straps with new quick-release metal buckles allow you to carry more equipment. A new central strap helps secure it.
Soft handles
The soft EVA neoprene handles at the tail and in the center make the board easier to carry.
New folding fin box
The 3-piece folding fin box allows you to roll the board while taking up 33% less space and reducing resistance by 50%.
Two removable fin boxes for windsurfing
They are positioned near the rails for better tracking and upwind performance. When paddling, you can remove them to eliminate extra weight and drag. For windsurfing, attach the included Drake Shallow fins, which prevent the board from skidding.
3 removable mast tracks
When removed, the deck remains flat for use as a SUP.
Welded Rail Technology
Welded rails create a completely watertight, mechanically bonded joint without the risk of glue weakening over time. Starboard inflatable boards are therefore stronger and last longer.
Pump and bag included
Each board includes a double-action Tiki pump and a Re-Cover wheeled bag.

How many people can the Tandem carry?
It is designed for two people and has a maximum total capacity of 200 kg.
Can it also be used for windsurfing?
Yes. It has 3 removable mast tracks and 2 removable fin boxes near the rails, where the included Drake Shallow fins are attached to help the board track and sail upwind.
Is it also suitable for winging?
Yes, Starboard recommends it for SUP, windsurf and winging.
Are the sail, mast or boom included?
No. The package includes the board, fins, pump and bag. The sail, mast, boom and mast base are sold separately.
Are the paddle and leash included?
No, they are not included: the package includes a double-action Tiki pump and a Re-Cover wheeled bag. The paddle and leash are sold separately.
What is the double chamber for?
The second chamber provides emergency buoyancy. Its side walls also act as I-beams, making the board much stiffer.
How much does it weigh and how easy is it to carry?
It weighs approximately 15 kg (±5%). Thanks to its Deluxe Lite construction, it is up to 2 kg lighter than Starboard's traditional inflatable constructions. It has soft EVA handles in the center and at the tail, and when deflated, it can be stored in the included wheeled bag.
Do the fins need to be removed to roll it up?
No, the center fin box folds into 3 pieces, allowing you to roll the board while taking up 33% less space. The windsurf fin boxes and mast tracks are removable.
When should you remove the side fin boxes?
When using it as a SUP. Without the side boxes, the board is lighter and has less drag, making paddling more enjoyable. For windsurfing, reattach them with the Drake Shallow fins.
How durable is the construction?
The rails are welded using Welded Rail Technology: the joint is watertight and mechanically bonded without glue that could weaken over time, making the board stronger and more durable.
