Frequently Asked Questions
What are the differences between 95/105 and 110/120/135?
The 95 is optimized for strong winds and gusts (flat 90 cm + extra Vee). The 105 is the balanced “all-rounder.” The 110/120/135 adopt revised cutaways with a stabilizer triangle to reduce the wetted surface and boost acceleration/top speed.
Which size should you choose?
Consider weight, spot, and sails. In general, choose the width that matches the most commonly used sail range: 95/105 for strong winds; 110/120 for freerace "daily drivers"; 135 for high-performance light-winds.
Which fin should I use?
Use the recommended size in the table (e.g., 110: 36–40 cm). Shorter fin = more agility; longer fin = more thrust and upwind performance. Check the box (Tuttle / Deep Tuttle) for your model.
Is it a challenging board?
The FUTURA aims for maximum efficiency without sacrificing comfort: soft pads and thin rails help with high-speed turns and long rides.
Initial setup tips?
Set the mast slightly forward for early planing, and set the straps in the “freeride” position for stability. Try the fin in the middle of the box and fine-tune according to the wind/sail conditions.
