The Loftsails Escape 2026 , formerly known as Skyscape , represents years of development and refinement, earning it a reputation as one of the most versatile sails in the range. Born as a sail dedicated to freefoiling , it has demonstrated incredible effectiveness even with the fin, offering freeride handling and freerace performance, with a direct and balanced response.
Its camber-free design and lightweight construction ensure smooth transitions and precise control. The higher aspect ratio and shorter boom improve aerodynamic efficiency, Reducing drag and increasing responsiveness. The new luff curves and revised batten angles lower the center of spin and improve overall balance, while the lower foot profile increases stability and thrust when the sail is fully loaded.
The 30mm seam along the shaft panel and the 5 mil foot panels increase durability, while the two clew loops expand the adjustable wind range. Finished with minimal, functional graphics, the 2026 Escape is designed to offer freeride freedom and foil agility in one design.
