New for 2026: Integrated Boom and More Efficient Shape
For 2026, the Cross introduces a straighter strut, which integrates perfectly with the pistol grip carbon boom for a more direct connection and precision control. The carbon boom, with its separable construction, combines the feel of a one-piece boom with the transport convenience of a detachable system.
The new outline with a slightly straighter leading edge improves efficiency and upwind performance, while maintaining the balanced and forgiving character that has made the Cross so popular. The proven panel layout ensures top-level durability, load distribution, and canopy stability, with perfectly aligned fabric grain direction for long-lasting performance.

BAT Panel Layout
The BAT Panel Layout uses segmented panels in the front to define the profile better, while perpendicular panels in the rear reduce stretch. This optimally distributes loads, maximizes dimensional stability, and achieves an excellent compromise between lightness and robustness.
ForceTec Dacron and VoltNova Canopy
ForceTec Dacron maximizes the stiffness, lightness, and durability of the leading edge and strut structure, with four central panels and a head panel in double-layer construction in the most stressed areas. VoltNova triple ripstop spinnaker by Teijin on the front and central part of the canopy combines lightness, strength, and stretch control, while VoltNova+ double ripstop on the trailing edge stabilizes the trailing edge and increases longevity and responsiveness.
