Why Spice Works So Well (Design & Shape)

• Unique Beveled Rail : Rails with a unique bevel for easy and super-responsive turns. Just a light foot pressure and the board “rolls” in the desired direction. Ultra-thin rails at the bow and stern reduce swing weight and increase response when loading the rail.
• Beveled Rail – 3 key benefits : Reduces glide area for increased speed and acceleration ; Easier rail-to-rail transitions (great for pumping and carving); The more pinched rail requires less pressure to initiate turns.
• Nose Outline : Increases stability and lengthens the rail line for more speed; thin, tapered rail reduces swing weight and improves maneuverability and turn speed.
• Parallel & thick midsection : parallel outline to engage the rail and maintain down-the-line speed; thicker midsection for floatation and maintaining speed and momentum even in small waves.
• Slight domed deck : slightly domed deck to keep rails thin and responsive, but with sufficient central volume.
• Wing Tail : “Break” in the rail line: stability from the width in front of the wing and more control because the tail narrows behind the wing. Thin rails at the tail for greater maneuverability.
• Round Pin Tail : excellent drive out of turns and good grip in more challenging surf.

Fin setup: 5 Fin Option (4+1 / 2+1)

The Spice offers the option of 5 fins for a 4+1 or 2+1 set-up (depending on style and conditions). Updated fin angles increase front splay for maneuverability and reduce rear angle for more drive.

• Standard : All models include a 4+1 setup with 4.7 front and 4.5 rear.
• Exception : the 10'3" has a thruster setup with 170 center + 4.7 front.

Carbon fins: Prepreg Carbon Surf Fins

The new ultra-light carbon surf fins increase performance in the waves: more drive , better grip and more speed out of corners .

• Limited Series comes with Armacore fins.

Board Sock (included)

The Board Sock reduces paper waste and protects your board from dust, scratches and UV . Made of stretch polyester, it adapts to different shapes and closes with a drawstring.

Limited Series – Timeless look, solid performance

• Twin fiberglass T-stringers on deck and bottom near the rails: greatly increased resistance against total breakage in surfing.
• Additional 200g glass layer surrounding the rails: increased resistance to paddle impacts and reinforcement against buckling.
• Deck with reinforced biax glass and Australian pine : reduces heel dents and increases strength in the standing area.
• Nose and tail wrapped in multiple layers of fiberglass: greater strength in the areas most subject to impacts.
