Yes, the Matrix ME combines the power and profile of a freerace sail with the ease of rigging and handling of a freeride sail. The profile remains stable thanks to the Technora fibers and 7-batten tubular construction.
How much does it weigh compared to a traditional Matrix?

Yes, we recommend a GA-Sails Constant Curve mast to take full advantage of the profile's progressive tension. The 6.7 can also be rigged with an RDM 430, while larger sizes prefer an SDM 460.

Yes, thanks to its low weight and stable front pull, the Matrix ME is excellent for freeracing foiling or cruising foiling in medium winds (12-18 knots).
