Il fondo ribassato (recessed bottom) riduce la resistenza della piastra del foil, mentre il deck concavo mantiene la tavola sottile sotto i piedi per un controllo preciso. Outline e rails sono studiati per ridurre il drag e aumentare la stabilità laterale, con touchdown più morbidi tra un'onda e l'altra.
