The Dynafiber Blacklunar Alu Boom (also known as Mono Alloy) is a one-piece aluminium windsurf boom that offers high-end boom stiffness at an affordable price. It is the ideal choice for anyone who wants a solid and precise boom without switching to carbon.
Available in four sizes, from 140-190 to 170-230, and in Blue, Orange and Dark Grey.

How to choose the size
- 140-190: small wave and freestyle sails.
- 150-200: medium wave and freemove sails.

Q: Why choose a one-piece aluminium boom?
A: It is stiffer and more durable than an aluminium boom with a screw-on head and costs much less than a carbon boom: an excellent compromise for freeride and frequent use.
Q: What is the difference between Blacklunar and Mono Alloy?
A: It is the same one-piece aluminium construction: the colour is different. Dark Grey corresponds to the Mono Alloy version.
Q: Is it compatible with RDM and SDM masts?
A: The head works with masts of different diameters; for use with RDM masts, check the supplied thickness or use the dedicated Dynafiber RDM adapter.
Q: Which size covers most freeride sails?
A: For freeride sails between 6 and 7.5 m², the most commonly used size is 160-220; however, always check the boom length stated on the sail.
Q: How do you maintain it?
A: Rinse the head, clips and tail with fresh water after use in the sea and periodically check the tips and grip.

- Italy: Free shipping on orders over $50. For lower orders, a shipping charge may apply.
- EU countries: Cost starts from €24.90 for orders under €200, the price however may vary depending on country and volume of products. The exact calculation is displayed during checkout.
- For bulky products (boards, sails, foils, SUPs, kayaks, etc.) a surcharge may be required. It will always be clearly communicated prior to order confirmation.
