Designed by Matt Biolos and refined by his diverse team of elite riders, the new high-performance MB fin is an interesting addition to the range and fits perfectly within the Carver family.
With a wide base, curved exit edge, and tapered tip, this fin is designed primarily for performance power surfing. The lower half of the fin generates exceptional power and drive, allowing surfers to push hard in turns while maintaining a sense of stability in the most critical situations. The tip, which narrows significantly from the middle of the fin, offers freedom and agility for turning sharply with confidence.
Unlike Matt's original upright template (Reactor family), which is smooth and designed for tight turns in beach breaks, the new MB template offers a balanced mix of drive, power, and release suitable for more open waves and maneuvers such as carves and power hacks. This fin also pairs particularly well with boards with a more pronounced rocker.
The PC Carbon construction offers a stiffer flex, allowing surfers to harness more power and speed when pushing hard in turns.
