Lightwind wingboard & downwind crossover. Intuitive stability, control, and maneuverability with lightweight and durable Active Carbon construction. The Nomad glides effortlessly: ideal for catching long waves, downwinding , or wing launching in lighter winds.
With optimized lengths and widths, the Nomad features a parallel outline , distributed volume for flight, and a forward foil position that allows you to maintain the same stance between paddling and launch. The new 65L and 85L sizes expand the choice in the most popular “medium wind” sizes.

- Advanced foil position: perfect balance in flight; facilitates pumping, provides stability underfoot and maximum maneuverability.
- Concave Deck: The forward volume prevents the nose from digging in; the concave lowers the center of gravity and creates a stable platform.
- Pin tail & narrow nose: clean release and infinite glide thanks to the narrow width and sharp nose.
- Hybrid hull: displacement bow for low-speed smoothness → planing tail with sharp edges for smooth touchdowns and instant release; refined intermediate rocker for instant planing.
- GORE Auto Vent: breathable, waterproof membrane that equalizes internal pressure and expels moisture.

Nomad vs. Shortboards: Which Should I Choose?
The Nomad is longer and narrower: it launches earlier, glides more, and excels in light wind/downwind. Shorter boards are more agile and trick-friendly but require more wind or technique to get started.
Which volume is right for me?
If you're just starting out in wing lightwind , choose a volume close to your body weight (or +10/15L). For advanced downwinders and expert riders, you can go smaller for more agility while maintaining good glide.
Does the GORE Auto Vent require maintenance?
No. It's a self-regulating system that equalizes internal pressure and prevents condensation. Do not remove or obstruct it.
How do I set the foil position?
Start with the mast in the center of the sleds. Move forward for more lift and easy launches; move back for more control at high speed. Use the Nomad's forward foil position to maintain the same stance between paddling and launch.
