The new Wave Grenade Carbon has been completely redesigned to ensure maximum durability even in the most demanding conditions. The tube diameter and wall thickness have been increased to ensure exceptional reliability and superior rigidity.

HD stands for Heavy Duty . The new Wave Grenade HD offers 36cm or 24cm adjustment to ensure maximum compatibility with the entire Severne wave sail range.
We took a deep dive into the need for more reliable tubing at these longer lengths and tested various aluminum specifications. The final solution includes a 33% increased wall thickness and an increased external diameter , to obtain maximum resistance to bending and breaking.

What is the difference between the Carbon and HD versions?
The Carbon is lighter and stiffer, ideal for those seeking maximum performance. The HD (Heavy Duty) uses reinforced aluminum, which is heavier but even more resistant to impacts and deformations.
Can I use the Wave Grenade with any wave sail?
Yes, it is designed to be compatible with all Severne wave sails and most other brands of sails with standard RDM tack.
Does any special maintenance need to be done?
Always rinse the extension cord with fresh water after use in the sea and periodically lubricate the button and collar to maintain smoothness and durability over time.
Can I also use it with freeride or freestyle sails?
Yes, but the Wave Grenade was born for pure wave . For freeride and slalom the Triple Xtension or the Cyclops are recommended.
Tip: To maximize life, avoid direct impacts to the edges of the extension and always check that the blocks are clean before rigging.
