TRIPLE XTENSION – RDM 3-Block Extension
Designed for freeride and slalom on RDM trees: easier rigging, reduced friction, extended compatibility.
With more and more riders rigging freeride/slalom sails on RDM masts, the need for a 3-block extension has become apparent. The Triple Xtension was developed with attention to line alignment and block spacing , reducing downhaul friction and speeding up rigging. Perfectly matched to sails with 4-roll tack , it is also ideal for sails with 3-roll tack . Includes Dyneema line and integrated hook for anchoring the tack strap.

Q&A – Frequently Asked Questions
The button doesn't return to its original position: what can I do?
Rinse the extension cord with fresh water , making sure there's no sand or dust inside. Press the button several times to help it reposition.
Can I use the extension cord at the maximum setting?
Yes , the Triple Xtension is designed to work safely even at the maximum setting .
Can I use it with 3-block sails?
Yes . It is perfect with 4-roll sails and also fits sails with 3-roll tack.
How do I set the extension to “2 cm”?
The 2 cm notch is positioned at 90° to the others, immediately above the mast base.
How do I avoid oxidation on aluminum extensions?
Dismantle the sail after each session and rinse the extension with fresh water . Avoid leaving the aluminum extension inserted into the mast when the sail is not in use.
Tip: Use Dyneema lines in good condition and check the alignment of the blocks to further reduce friction in the frame.
