Design Profile

Medium AR-optimized profile for maximum early lift and a stable, forgiving ride. The ultra-thin profile and new wingtip shape, developed in collaboration with SINTEF and validated in tank testing, provide excellent control in all phases of gliding and turning, reducing cavitation and delivering always predictable response in both pumping and roll.

Note: The larger the tail, the greater the stability; the smaller, the greater the maneuverability and responsiveness. For a reactive style or pro riders, smaller sizes are recommended.

1. Choose the stabilizer: Select the size according to your front wing and riding style (small = reactive, large = stable).
2. Assembly: Attach the tail to the fuselage with the supplied screws. Make sure it is tightened securely.
3. Compatibility: All V-Series stabs are compatible with CAB Fusion, X-Series, and H-Series.
4. Always check: Tighten the screws after use in salt water and make sure there is no play in the connections.

How do I choose the tail size?

In general, match a medium-size tail if your front wing is medium-sized. For more stability use larger tails; for greater maneuverability and tighter turns, use smaller tails.

What’s the difference between a large and a small tail?

A large tail offers more stability (useful for beginners, strong wind, or large foils). A small tail makes the foil livelier, more sensitive, and faster in turns (preferred by advanced riders).

Can I use these stabs with X-Series/H-Series foils?

What is the best size for starting out?
