Why the Spice Performs So Well (Design & Shape)

• Unique Bevelled Rail: bevelled rails for easy, highly responsive turns. Just apply light foot pressure and the board “rolls” in the desired direction. Extra-thin rails at the nose and tail reduce swing weight and increase responsiveness when loading the rail.
• Bevelled Rail – 3 Key Benefits: reduces planing area to increase speed and acceleration; makes rail-to-rail transitions easier (ideal for pumping and carving); the more “pinched” rail requires less pressure to initiate a turn.
• Nose Outline: increases stability and extends the rail line for more speed; the thin, tapered rail reduces swing weight and improves maneuverability and turning speed.
• Parallel & Thick Midsection: parallel outline to engage the rail and maintain speed down the line; thicker midsection for buoyancy and maintaining speed and momentum even in small waves.
• Slightly Domed Deck: slightly domed deck to maintain thin, responsive rails while providing sufficient central volume.
• Wing Tail: “break” in the rail line: stability from the width in front of the wing and more control behind the wing where the tail narrows. Thin rails at the tail for greater maneuverability.

Fin Setup: 5 Fin Option (4+1 / 2+1)

The Spice offers a 5-fin option for 4+1 or 2+1 setups (depending on style and conditions). Updated fin angles increase forward splay for maneuverability and reduce the rear angle for more drive.

• Standard: all models include a 4+1 setup with 4.7 front and 4.5 rear fins.
• Exception: the 10'3" has a thruster setup with a 170 center + 4.7 front fin.

Carbon Fins: Prepreg Carbon Surf Fins

The new ultra-light carbon surf fins increase performance between waves: more drive, better grip, and more speed out of turns.

• Limited Series comes with Armacore fins.

Board Sock (Included)

The Board Sock reduces paper waste and protects the board from dust, scratches, and UV rays. Made from stretch polyester, it adapts to different shapes and closes with a drawstring.

Limited Series – Timeless Look, Solid Performance

• Twin T-stringers in fiberglass on the deck and bottom near the rails: significantly increased resistance to total breakage during surfing.
• Additional 200g glass layer wrapping the rails: greater resistance to paddle impacts and reinforcement against buckling.
• Deck with reinforced biax glass and Australian pine: reduces heel dents and increases durability in the standing area.
• Nose and tail wrapped in multiple layers of fiberglass: greater strength in the areas most prone to impacts.
