KODE 145 – The Agile Experience
If you love bigger freeride boards, the Kode 145 will surprise you. With a single fin it feels very free underfoot: the curved outline and rounded rails inspire confidence and make the first “autopilot” gybe easier. The shorter length increases agility and, with the thruster , you'll chase waves and carve like never before, with sails from 6–8.5 m² .
Integrated versatility
All Kodes have a central Powerbox and lateral StarBoxes (the 85 L uses a central US Box for the slimmer tail). StarBox = quick assembly, precise adjustments, US compatible.
Carbon Sandwich – Performance & Value
Hull with 2 layers of cross-fiber glass for optimized flex and deck with ~60% UD 80g carbon: high sensitivity and response with low weight and great reliability.
Advanced side fin boxes (+3.5 cm)
New, more advanced position of the laterals for greater agility and aggression in wave use.

Thruster for responsive turns and wave riding; Single fin for early planing and fast freeriding. The Carbon Sandwich versions include both setups (second volume).

Frequently Asked Questions
Thruster or single fin?
Thruster = responsive turns and more grip on the waves. Single fin = early planing, speed, and a freeride feel. You can switch between the two in minutes.
How do I adjust the mast base and straps?
Use the color markers: white (Wave), pink (FreeWave), dark red (Freeride). They're shortcuts to quickly find the right setup.
The Kode 85 has a central US Box: why?
The very thin tail requires US Box for precise fine-tuning and compatibility with US wave fins.
Which size do I choose?
General guideline: volume ≈ rider weight (L ↔ kg) for all-around wave riding. If you often use large sails or onshore/chop spots, choose a larger volume.
What are the differences between 85/95/105 and 115/125/135/145?
The 85–105 are snappier (more area behind the fin, fuller nose, new hip outline). The 115–145 maximize accessibility in light wind and shorebreak with greater central volume and thin rails.
