New racing outline
The completely redesigned profile, with a shorter boom and lower clew, improves the sail’s handling and responsiveness, especially during maneuvers and high-speed changes of direction.
PWA Slalom Foil racing sail designed for maximum speed, acceleration, profile stability, and control in the most demanding conditions.
The GA Vapor Air 2026 is a sail designed specifically for windsurf foil racing and slalom, developed for riders seeking competitive performance, aerodynamic efficiency, and precise handling at high speeds. The new design aims to make the sail more responsive, balanced, and stable during acceleration, fast reaches, and maneuvers around the buoys.
The updated construction incorporates Project 85 Aramid Technology UPE laminate in the mast sleeve and batten pockets. This material helps reduce weight, limit profile stretch under load, and maintain a direct, consistent response over time.
The profile has been redesigned with a new outline, shorter boom, lower clew, updated mast curves, and an optimized batten configuration. The result is a sail with progressive drive, excellent stability on downwind courses, and a smoother feel during foil gybes.
The completely redesigned profile, with a shorter boom and lower clew, improves the sail’s handling and responsiveness, especially during maneuvers and high-speed changes of direction.
The mast sleeve and batten pockets are made from a lightweight, durable, low-stretch laminate to provide profile stability, durability, and immediate response.
Continuous panels are arranged radially from the center of the sail. Fewer cross seams help distribute loads more effectively and promote a more even response under pressure.
The high-tension profile delivers consistent power and a stable center of effort, even when the wind picks up or changes in strength.
The cross batten helps keep the profile stable and the center of pressure well defined, providing greater control at top speed.
The lower Color Monofilm panel helps reduce the sail’s weight while maintaining good durability, for a more responsive and balanced feel on the water.

The Vapor Air 2026 is designed for high-performance windsurf foil racing and foil slalom. It is a sail focused on speed, stability, and control in competition.
It is a sail developed specifically for use with a hydrofoil. For fin slalom windsurfing, we recommend choosing a sail designed specifically for that discipline.
The 4.3 m² size uses 3 cambers, while sizes from 5.3 m² to 8.4 m² use 4 cambers to keep the profile stable and supported at high speeds.
The 4.3 m² and 5.3 m² sizes are compatible with RDM masts; sizes from 6.3 m² to 8.4 m² are designed for use with SDM masts. Always check the length and IMCS value shown in the technical table.
The Continuous Radial Panel Layout uses continuous panels oriented along the sail’s natural load paths. This helps improve force distribution, profile stability, and responsiveness while sailing.
The shorter boom and lower clew make the sail more compact and responsive. This helps deliver smoother handling during acceleration, foil gybes, and maneuvers around the buoy.
No. The Vapor Air is a cambered race sail designed for experienced riders who are already familiar with foiling, technical rigging, and high-speed sailing.
