Hydro 2027 – Foil Windsurf Race Board
Designed for pure speed and absolute control in flight.
The new generation of Hydro is defined by a completely redesigned outline, rocker, and hull. The increased length, with a narrower nose and tail, drastically increases stability in flight: it locks in the position and allows you to keep accelerating.
The increased thickness projects the board slightly forward in flight, creating a constant airflow over the deck for "autopilot" control at top speed. The deep and minimalist cockpit offers precise control during jibe, turn, and fast reaches; the convex-flat deck promotes continuous laminar flow and the lowered mast base ensures a direct connection with the board.
The deep cutouts with secondary steps ensure a clean release at takeoff and minimal resistance when landing: advanced buoyancy, clean release, explosive acceleration. The 2027 shape is adapted to the latest generation of smaller and more efficient foils: less leverage is needed to balance the equipment, so the rider spends less energy adjusting and more accelerating.

Is the Hydro designed for a specific foil?
No. It is compatible with any freerace and race foil: the footstrap inserts and mast base offer a wide range of adjustments, so you can adapt it to future foils as well.
Why is the Hydro longer than other boards?
The length increases longitudinal stability, which is essential above 25 knots, reduces the violence of catapults thanks to a nose that supports landings and improves the airflow towards the sail, helping acceleration.
What sails can be used?
Foil race sails and freerace sails in the indicative range of 5.0 to 8.0 m².
Where to position the mast base?
Start from the center of the mast base and move 1 cm at a time forward or backward until the board is perfectly balanced at top speed.
Where to position the footstraps?
Start from the center holes. If you need more lift, move them back one position at a time; with a very powerful foil, move them forward. For the rear strap, you can choose between the outside position (more power) and the inside position (more control).
Is the foil included?
No, the Hydro is supplied without a foil or fin.
