Pro Paddleboard – Surf Like A Pro (competition SUP Surf, “world championship” performance)

The PRO is our multiple world title winning board, designed to deliver pro performance . Super thin rails for exceptional grip in turns, high speeds, radical snaps and an impressive drive. The range includes different sizes to suit different riders and different wave conditions.

Why the PRO surfs like a race board (shape & performance)

  • Performance Thin Rails : Thin rails reduce swing weight in the nose, increasing pivot speed through turns. Fuller rails in the midsection help maintain speed, while thinner rails in the tail provide more bite and control.
  • Narrow Nose Outline : narrow nose that fits well into the pocket, reduces the risk of “nose catching” and allows for precise and controlled turns in the most critical sections.
  • Five Fin Setup : 5 fin setup with 4+1 and 2+1 configuration options to adapt the board to your style and conditions.
  • Deck Shape : A fairly flat deck for comfort and stability in choppy conditions, reducing fatigue and conserving energy. It becomes slightly domed towards the rails as the rails taper.
  • Rail Shape : Sharp rail edge from the tail to just in front of the fins for grip and control; in front of the fins the rails become softer/rounder for smoother transitions between maneuvers and maintaining speed.
  • Bottom Shape : single concave for lift and speed, evolving into a double in the central section and a slight vee at the tail for rail-to-rail transitions and maneuverability.
  • Rocker Curve : Moderate nose rocker to avoid catching on steep drops and in turns; flatter midsection for increased speed; clean tail kick for snappy turns and easy rotations (perfect mix of speed + maneuverability).
  • Squash Tail : great drive and grip in bigger waves, but with quick changes of direction.

Fin options (4+1 / 2+1) – details

The 5 fin set-up allows for 4+1 and 2+1 configurations, choosing based on style and waves. Updated corners increase front splay for maneuverability and reduce rear corner for more drive.

  • All models are supplied in a 2+1 configuration: 4.7 front + center 120 or 140 on the larger sizes.
  • Acute Carbon : Includes Prepreg Carbon fins.
  • Limited Series : includes Armacore fins.

Main measures (“quick choice” descriptions)

  • 9'0" x 30" | 144 L – Preferred by heavier riders (up to 120 kg): faster outline and reduced swing weight for easier rotations. Maximum stability with pro-level performance.
  • 8'7” x 29.5” | 130 L – Same size but more stable thanks to the flatter (less corky) deck. Thin rails and a sharp squash tail hold well in rough surf; flatter tail rocker + more pulled-out nose = more down-the-line speed.
  • 8'2” x 29” | 118 L – Replaces the 8'0”: longer for quicker entry and better line hold on steep drops. Extremely popular up to 95 kg: new fin position = bite + maneuverability + drive in turns.
  • 7'10" x 28" | 104 L – Longer and slightly thinner than the previous 7'7": less corky float. Extra length and a narrower nose help with late entry into hollower waves and speed through critical sections. Smooth and secure squash tail between bottom and lip.
  • 7'5” x 26.75” | 92 L – Surfboard feel: floats up to 80 kg but offers very high performance. Narrow nose for whip turns and pocket surfing; higher nose rocker for more forgiving performance; thin nose/tail rails for ultra-responsive performance.
  • 7'4” x 25” | 83 L NEW – Developed with Camille Dubrana: For riders up to 80–85 kg who want peak performance. Ultra-thin rails for hold in powerful surf, with speed and fluidity to connect turns even in smaller conditions.
  • 7'2" x 23.5" | 74 L – for bigger, hollower waves: requested by Zane Schweitzer and Benoit Carpentier. Longer and narrower than the world-champion 7'0" x 24": faster, better on steep drops and barrel riding. Pulled-in round pin tail + super thin rails for easy bottom turns and control in rough surf.
  • 7'0” x 24” | 75 L – Super-responsive, high-performance shape (quote by Benoit Carpentier). Excellent control in rough surf and flow for linking maneuvers; high confidence for progressing.

Constructions

Acute Carbon – Lightweight, strong & extra responsive

  • Premium craftsmanship : Handbuilt construction with premium process.
  • Core EPS 25 kg : greater break strength and “alive” flex.
  • Rapid recoil : 45° biaxial fiber with nearly double the recoil of conventional glass layups.
  • Targeted patches : reinforcements in the standing area for impact protection without sacrificing flex.
  • Explosive response : drive and precision in every maneuver.

Limited Series – Timeless look, solid performance

  • Twin fiberglass T-stringers on deck and bottom near the rails: great resistance against total breakage in surf.
  • Additional large 200g glass layer that wraps the rails: more resistance to paddle impacts and reinforcement against buckling.
  • Deck with reinforced biax glass and Australian pine : resists heel dents and impacts in the standing area.
  • Nose and tail reinforced with multiple layers of fiberglass for strength in impact zones.

Q&A (Frequently Asked Questions)

What type of SUP is the PRO?
It is a competition SUP surf board, designed for radical performance: speed, drive and control in critical sections thanks to the super thin rails and the taut outline.

Is it also suitable for non-advanced riders?
The PRO is designed for performance: if you already have good surfing technique and want to push your maneuvers and speed, it's ideal. If you're looking for more ease/stability, models like the Wedge or TwinFin/Spice are better, depending on the conditions.

What difference do ultra thin rails make?
They increase grip and precision when cornering and reduce swing weight, making the board quicker to pivot and very responsive under foot pressure.

How do I choose the right size?
9'0” 144L up to 120 kg (maximum stability + pro performance). 8'7” 130L up to 110 kg. 8'2” 118L up to 95 kg (enters earlier and holds on steep drops). 7'5” 92L up to 80 kg. 7'4” 83L NEW up to 80–85 kg for pure performance. 7'2” 74L and 7'0” 75L for lighter riders and more critical conditions.

What fins are included?
The Acute Carbon models include Prepreg Carbon fins; the Limited Series models include Armacore fins. All models come standard with a 2+1 configuration (4.7 front + center 120/140).

Can I use 4+1 or 2+1?
Yes: the 5-fin setup allows for both configurations. You can adjust it based on your style and conditions (more maneuverability or more drive/control).
