Start 2 – Windsurf & Wing Entry Board
The Start 2 is the ideal entry-level board for both windsurfing and for the first steps in wing surfing . The thick center rails and long, flat bottom with rounded tail generate immediate glide, while the nose kick effortlessly overcomes chop. In gait the board is efficient and balanced ; with a little more wind, you shift your weight back, put your back foot outside the colored area, and begin to glide confidently.
- Easy turns with the Drake Shallow 22 fin for stability when changing feet.
- Quick jibes thanks to the tapered tail and rounded front rails.
- Daggerboard set back : sailing upwind is easier and without backwind.

Is it suitable for wing?
Yes, it is the best “first time” board for windsurfing and wing . The central stability and flat bottom help the
traction and management of the sail/wing in the first outings.
Which size (S/M/L) do I choose?
S (231 L) 40–60 kg • M (271 L) 60–80 kg • L (317 L) 80–100 kg.
If you are a complete beginner or want maximum stability, choose a larger size.
What is the colored oval in the center for?
It's a visual guide to beginner foot placement: it helps with balance and control during your first maneuvers.
When do I use the daggerboard and side fins?
The daggerboard helps in light winds and for sailing upwind (it is set back to avoid backwind).
The side fins (Sail Fin) are only included in the Red/No Pad versions and are not used for windsurfing .

- Italy: Free shipping on orders over $50. For lower orders, a shipping charge may apply.
- EU countries: Cost starts from €24.90 for orders under €200, the price however may vary depending on country and volume of products. The exact calculation is displayed during checkout.
- For bulky products (boards, sails, foils, SUPs, kayaks, etc.) a surcharge may be required. It will always be clearly communicated prior to order confirmation.
