NeilPryde PROTON – Trapezio a Fascia Shell Flessibile Ultralight
Il NeilPryde PROTON è un trapezio a fascia con guscio flessibile ultraleggero, pensato per chi cerca il mix ideale tra supporto lombare e massima libertà di movimento in windsurf e kitesurf.
Il classico nucleo rigido degli hard shell viene sostituito da un materiale Surlyn® composito leggero e resistente, che mantiene i vantaggi del guscio rigido ma offre più flex nelle zone dove il corpo si muove di più.
Caratteristiche principali
- Flyweight shell: guscio composito ultraleggero che riduce al minimo peso e affaticamento in acqua.
- Low profile design: profilo ribassato per piena libertà di movimento in manovra, wave, freestyle e freeride.
- Fusion composite core: il nucleo si adatta progressivamente alla forma della schiena per un fitting sempre più personalizzato.
- Non sale in vita: il trapezio rimane bloccato in posizione, evitando fastidiosi spostamenti verso l’alto.
- Compatibile con sistema Fireball: predisposizione per l’attacco Fireball NeilPryde (a seconda della barra utilizzata).
- Imbottiture in EVA non assorbente: il padding non si imbeve d’acqua e mantiene forma e comfort nel tempo.
- Coperture elastiche fibbie: buckle cover e cinghie protette per evitare danni e impigliamenti.

Il PROTON nasce come trapezio a fascia shell utilizzabile sia in windsurf che in kitesurf, ideale per wave, freestyle e freeride in entrambe le discipline.
Che differenza c’è rispetto a un trapezio hardshell molto rigido?
Rispetto a un hardshell completamente rigido, il PROTON mantiene un buon supporto ma offre più flessibilità laterale e una sensazione meno “bloccata”, risultando più confortevole nelle manovre e in navigazione attiva.
Il trapezio rimane fermo in vita o tende a salire?
Il design a guscio con core composito e pannelli interni antiscivolo è studiato per evitare che il trapezio salga verso il petto, bloccandosi in posizione durante la planata.
Come scelgo la taglia giusta?
Misura la circonferenza vita e confrontala con la tabella taglie; se sei tra due misure e fai soprattutto wave/freestyle, molti rider preferiscono una vestibilità leggermente più aderente per maggior controllo del trapezio.
