The NeilPryde ATEC 25 is new to the 2026 range and is NeilPryde's thinnest aluminum boom ever. It's designed to combine versatility, strength, and affordability, incorporating many of the same high-end components as the brand's top-of-the-line booms.
Thanks to the ergonomic 25mm diameter, the ATEC 25 offers an extremely comfortable, light and responsive grip, ideal for those who want a slim feel but don't want to immediately upgrade to a carbon boom.

VT Joint
The VT Joint increases the contact area between the boom and mast, reducing the risk of point loads and minimizing play in the connection. It can be used on any standard SDM mast and allows for easy and precise boom height adjustment.
V-shaped Mast Cup
The mast cup provides two points of contact between the cup and the mast, creating a tight connection and excellent power transmission. The V-shape accommodates the normal variations in standard mast diameters: slightly thinner ones fit deeper into the V, while wider ones sit further out.
Optimized Cleat Angle
The clew block angle is optimized to make pulling and loosening the line super easy, ensuring that the line doesn't loosen or move unintentionally during the session.
Integrated Boom Lever
The integrated boom lever allows for quick and intuitive attachment and release, and is designed with a reduced surface area and reduced weight to avoid weighing down the front end.
Trim-Pin Lever Design
The Trim-Pin system uses double inserts with an easy-to-use locking/opening lever, ensuring simple boom length adjustment, optimal load distribution and a rigid connection between the boom body and tail end.
