The Freetime is more conservative (Dacron/X-Ply, 1–4 battens); the Pilot is a “ready for anything” freeride board with 4 battens, brighter and with better rotation and pop.
Does it work with non-GA trees?
Yes. The forgiving luff curve allows the use of RDM/SDM from various brands ( constant curve recommended). With GA shafts you get perfect tuning.
Which size should you choose?
4.5–5.0 for 14–20 knots; 5.6 for 16–22; 6.2 for 18–24; 6.8 for 12–18 knots or bulky boards.
Is it suitable for foil?
It is not foil specific, but sizes 5.6–6.8 can work for foil cruising in light winds thanks to the soft pull.
In which spots does it perform best?
Flat waters or light chop: Lake Garda, Hyères, Marsala, Alacati, Karpathos . Excellent for constant freecruising .
