Technologies
Quickdry Lining
The Quickdry hollow fibre inner lining absorbs around 20% less water , channels water towards the back of the fabric and drains it quickly: the wetsuit remains lighter , dries quickly and is warmer and more comfortable.
Velcro Ankle Strap
To reduce water entry from below, you can use the removable Velcro strap around the ankle: it helps to “seal” the suit, especially with booties in very cold conditions.
Limestone Neoprene
All RRD wetsuits use limestone-based neoprene, which is more eco-friendly, offers excellent stretch and insulation. The "intense black" color uses a dope-dye technique that reduces water consumption; black also absorbs heat better, allowing for longer sessions.
Differentiated Tape Width
Two internal tape widths to balance strength and weight: 14 mm in the most stressed areas (crotch) and 10 mm in the rest of the panels. This saves weight while maintaining the right amount of elasticity and strength.
Powerseams | Stitchless Technology
One of the most resistant constructions without losing stretch: the external liquid powerseam limits infiltrations, while the internal neotape with “stitchless” technology reinforces the joint and reduces the risk of irritation.
Back Drain Holes
Additional drainage holes in the upper back (between the shoulder blades): help quickly expel any water that may enter after significant falls, before it reaches the body.
Leg Drain Holes
