But professional surfers never stop obsessing over their equipment. Fast forward to 2026 and the Champion has a new signature line with FCS: fins, pads and leashes.
TRACTION SIGNATURE YAGO DORA
Introducing the new Yago Dora grip. The first of its kind designed for larger feet. The extra 5 mm on each side panel to fit his size 44 foot, designed for a modern and squared-off look. The kick features a dual-angle backstop that starts at 45° before going vertical. The tapered kick edges minimize water resistance, the arched bar, the angled square groove, and finally, some perforations on the side panels create extra sensitivity.
The Yago Dora signature traction pad is an entirely new design, specially created to fit larger feet without compromising performance. Developed around Yago's size 44, this pad features enlarged side panels and a refined profile to offer a secure and well-anchored feel, with a bold and modern aesthetic.
Every element has been carefully studied, from the unique dual-angle kick to the perforations that increase sensitivity, creating a traction pad that offers control and responsiveness when pushing hard in turns.
