Nomad LS Foilboard
Carbon Plus foilboard for lightwind, downwind, and SUP
- Lightwind wingboard, also ideal for downwind and foil SUP
- Infinite glide and optimized maneuverability
- Carbon Plus construction, lightweight and durable
Description
The Nomad LS is an intuitive and stable crossover board, designed for lightwind and downwind, with a glide that requires minimal effort. It's perfect for riding long waves, for downwind, or for taking off on the foil even in the lightest wind using a wing.
Thanks to optimized length and width, the Nomad LS features a parallel outline, distributed volume to promote flight, and an advanced foil position, which allows maintaining the same stance whether paddling or taking off on the foil.
Compared to the original Nomad Carbon Plus, the Nomad LS features a further reduction in width. The LS (Light Speed) shape is agile and slippery, but remains versatile for downwind, wave riding, or light wind winging.
Key Features
Hull Shape
The hull features an optimized nose area for displacement, ideal for low-speed glide, which transitions into a planing tail with sharp edges for a clean and immediate water release. The intermediate rocker has been refined to ensure immediate glide and efficient take-offs even at low speeds.
Pin Tail
The pin tail creates an extremely clean water release and works in synergy with the reduced width and narrow nose to ensure infinite glide.
Concave Deck
The high volume concentrated towards the nose prevents the tip from sinking when pushing with the front foot. The concave deck creates a stable platform by lowering the rider's center of gravity.
Narrow Nose
The narrow nose cuts through the water and works in synergy with the reduced width and pin tail to offer infinite glide.
Carbon Plus Construction
The Carbon Plus construction features a full carbon sandwich on both the deck and hull. This technology uses a lightweight glass layer around a lightweight core, fusing a high-density foam layer on the deck and hull. All is finished with a full carbon layer on both sides. The biaxial carbon fiber has been optimized to ensure the best balance of responsiveness, strength, and weight reduction.
Construction strengths: ultra-light Carbon Plus deck and hull, PVC sandwich structure with a lightweight core, reinforced and high-strength foil attachment.
