Psycho 2027 – Freestyle Windsurf Board

Developed with former freestyle world champion and coach Dieter Van der Eyken, the Psycho is a ready-to-use expression machine. No catching edges, no distractions: just performance.
Freestyle-specific features include an ultra-short length and reduced nose volume to decrease rotation weight and control maneuvers, angled footstraps for easy switch stance access, and front and rear double-bolt inserts to prevent twisting and withstand high loads.
Reduced widths and parallel edges maintain efficiency for explosive acceleration and high top speeds. All superfluous paint has been removed, and the dual-density camo pads cushion every landing.

Parallel outline
Reduces drag and increases stability; the reduced width gives the feel of a smaller, more maneuverable board.
High-speed rocker
Fast, low-drag rocker to maximize top speed for larger maneuvers; carefully designed entry to accelerate and land on the nose.
Freestyle hull
Minimum draft along the entire length: helps with slides and rotations, reduces drag, and stabilizes the board during switch stance preparation.
Freestyle footstrap placement
Reduced center-to-center distance of 120 mm for more control and lateral support, front strap at 50° for easy switch stance access, double-bolt to prevent twisting.
Full-power edges
High volume and squared-off tail edges for power, lift, and explosive pop; front edges with a high apex and more tuck to prevent catching during slides.
Dynamic volume
Less volume in the nose to rotate faster and with more control, more volume in the foot area for pop and early planing.
HEX-4 key
One tool for everything: fin screws (Slot Box and Powerbox), footstrap mounting, bar tensioning, and even a bottle opener. Compared to a Phillips screwdriver, it only requires a turning motion, without having to push.

Is the Psycho suitable for those starting freestyle?
Yes: short length, angled footstraps, and a fast rocker make the first maneuvers easier, but the board grows with you up to the competitive level.
Is the fin included?
Yes, every Psycho comes with a black G10 Freestyle-Series Powerbox fin from 18 to 20 cm depending on the size.
Which size should I choose?
Use the rider weight chart: for example, a rider weighing 65–80 kg generally chooses the 94 as their main board. Contact us for personalized advice.
What color is the Psycho?
Soul Red Crystal, 95% Fluo Red + 5% Bright Red, and black.
Should I remove the Gore-Tex vent valve before a flight or trip?
No, the valve should not be touched or removed: it automatically regulates the board's internal pressure.
Does the vent valve need to be replaced over time?
Yes, it is recommended to replace it approximately every 3 years. We can provide you with the original replacement part.
Can I buy just the nose guard?
No, the nose guard is not sold separately: it is fitted at the factory and can only be requested during the board pre-order phase.
The footstraps are too wide, can I narrow them?
Yes. Just turn the plastic inserts at both ends of the footstrap: the width is reduced and the fit becomes tighter.
Where can I find replacement parts (footstraps, screws, vent valve)?
You can request them directly from us: we will help you find the correct original replacement part for your board.
