In 2025 we further developed and refined the COS system to make it even more intuitive , so you can focus on riding and maximizing the fun. The most important aspect of a control system is safety : the COS bar excels with the most consistent releases in multiple conditions, giving you confidence when you really need it.

Materials & Care
Like any control system, some parts wear out over time. Inspect frequently and follow the cleaning instructions:
- Before/after each session rinse with fresh water until free of sand/salt.
- Open the quick release (QR) handle, rinse and check the operation of all components.
- Check for cracks , scratches , corrosion , or excessive wear ; replace components if necessary.
- Close the QR handle to reduce stress on the internal elastic.
- Remove the cassette from the bar end and rinse the inside with fresh water.
- Flush the rest of the system to prolong its life.

An optimized release stroke and ergonomic QR handle make the release smoother and more consistent. Auto-unwinding has also been improved thanks to ceramic bearings.
How do I choose the right line length (18/20/22/24 m)?
18–20 m : More responsiveness and quick turns (strong wind / freestyle). 22 m (stock): Overall balance. 24 m : More power at the start and low-end (light wind / foil freeride).
Is the security system reliable?
Yes, the COS offers consistent release loads under many conditions. The extended-travel QR makes it easy to activate even under load.
Does auto-unwind work on charged lines?
Ceramic bearings reduce friction to a minimum: rotation occurs smoothly during sheeting to maintain neat lines.
Is the bar compatible with my kite?
The Low-V connection and Dyneema™ lines are designed for wide compatibility. Always check your kite/brand's standards.
What maintenance do I need to do regularly?
Rinse after each ride, inspect QR and lines, clean bar ends, and replace worn parts when necessary.

- EU countries: Cost starts from €24.90 for orders under €200, the price however may vary depending on country and volume of products. The exact calculation is displayed during checkout.
- For bulky products (boards, sails, foils, SUPs, kayaks, etc.) a surcharge may be required. It will always be clearly communicated prior to order confirmation.

- We ship with specialized express couriers (GLS, BRT, DHL, UPS, SDA, etc.), selected according to product type and delivery area.
- All products are packed carefully and, where necessary, with reinforced packaging to ensure maximum safety during transport.
