The new EVOLUTION GOLD WING Y29 uses Aluula fabrics in the central panels of the leading edge , while maintaining Dacron on the tip and central strut. The result is a super stiff central structure, with more flexible ends to better handle gusts and strong winds: an integrated and “self-adjusting” frame that offers power, stability, control and performance .
The partial use of Aluula also reduces production costs without compromising durability . Combined with an optimized aspect ratio , the Y29 reduces flow stall, improving immediate accessibility and forward propulsion thanks to the variable twist between the center strut and tip.
