The NeilPryde Carbon 26 E is the new 2025 boom that sits between the Carbon Pro range and NeilPryde's high-end aluminium booms, offering performance very close to full carbon but with an excellent quality/price ratio.
Born from the same mould as the Carbon Pro 26, it uses a carbon hybrid composite construction that guarantees high torsional rigidity, a square profile tail and immediate control of the sail, with a comfortable and natural 26 mm oval “teardrop” handle.

Technologies and construction details
VT Joint
The VT Joint increases the contact area between the boom and mast, reduces point loads, and minimizes play in the connection. It can be used with any standard SDM mast and makes it easy to adjust the boom height.
Forged Carbon Mast Cup
The mast cup provides two points of contact between the cup and the shaft, for a tight connection and effective power transmission. The V-shaped profile accommodates normal variations in shaft diameter: thinner masts enter deeper into the V, wider ones remain further out.
Oval Diameter / Teardrop Grip
The 26mm oval section replicates the natural shape of the palm and fingers, improving comfort and grip strength and allowing for longer sessions with less fatigue. The ovality also increases the torsional rigidity of the boom arms.
Loop-to-Hook Outhaul System
The loop-to-hook clew system ensures low friction and no crossing of lines, leaving the sail free to move. The system is further enhanced by high-quality Dyneema lines and an integrated boom lever.
Integrated Boom Lever
